THE GAP IN DIABETES CARE

Diabetes Management Deserves More Than a 15-Minute Appointment

Yet that's often all you get. A rushed visit, a few quick adjustments, and a follow-up scheduled three months out— leaving you to navigate everything in between on your own.

And when something comes up in the meantime— a pattern you can't explain, a big life change, a day that just won't cooperate— the options are limited. Wait it out. Leave a message. Hope it resolves.

This is where the gap in diabetes care gets filled— with longer sessions, greater frequency and someone in your corner when it matters most.

VIRTUAL CARE FOR REAL LIFE WITH T1D

Diabetes Is Expensive– Your Care Shouldn’t Be

Living with T1D is expensive—between insulin, diabetes supplies, and everything else. You shouldn't have to choose between your health and your budget. Luckily, most insurance plans cover sessions with a registered dietitian, so you can get the expert T1D support without extra expenses.

A meal planning system you can use again and again

and yes, I have T1D too.

Hi, I'm Amanda!

I was 18 years old when I was diagnosed on February 12, 2012. Overnight, food went from something I never thought about to something I was terrified of getting wrong — and there was no one around who truly understood what that felt like.

I initially became a dietitian for completely selfish reasons. I wanted answers for myself. I wanted to understand my own body, my own blood sugars, and my own complicated new relationship with food.

But somewhere along the way, I realized my experience wasn't unique. Most people with T1D are out there navigating the same fear, the same confusion, the same feeling of being left to figure it out alone — when they absolutely shouldn't have to.

That realization is what drives everything I do. I'm not just your dietitian. I'm a fellow T1D who has sat exactly where you're sitting— and found a way through.
