WHAT'S INSIDE

The Framework T1Ds Wish
They Learned
at Diagnosis.

Predictability isn't something anyone hands you at diagnosis. I spent years chasing it — through frustration, failed experiments, and obsessive research. These four factors are what finally got me there, and they're the foundation of everything in this playbook.

Created by Someone
Who Gets it.

Hi, I’m Amanda — registered dietitian, T1D, and someone who deeply understands how exhausting blood sugars can be.

You're doing everything right. You carb count. You pre-bolus. You double-check. And your numbers still don't cooperate.

Then you go looking for answers and you're either told to check back in after 3 months, or you fall down a rabbit hole of conflicting advice that leaves you more confused than when you started.

I built this playbook because you deserve better than that.

When a spike happens, you'll know how to respond, not spiral. When a pattern shows up, you'll know how to adjust, not guess. When your numbers move, they'll feel explainable, not personal.

While I can't make you a promise of perfect numbers, I can promise something more powerful: the ability to understand them.

It isn't about perfect blood sugars.
It's about finally understanding yours.

Thousands of T1Ds thought unpredictable blood sugars were just part of living with T1D until they finally had a framework that made sense.

Jenn W.

Type 1 since 2021

Diagnosed at 57, Jen was handed an insulin pen and sent home with almost no guidance. The Predictable Blood Sugar Playbook gave her the foundation her providers never did — finally explaining how carb type, food pairing, and insulin timing all work together.

Kate B.

Type 1 since 2008

Kate had accepted that a sub-7% A1C just wasn't in the cards. Applying the four factors — especially dialing in her insulin timing and food pairings — changed everything she thought she knew about her own management.

Benjamin D.

Type 1 since 2023

Ben's parents were doing everything right but prebolus timing had them anxious before every meal. Learning how carb type and insulin timing work together gave their family the confidence to finally get ahead of his blood sugars.
